BioRake sample handling system is CellScale’s patent pending method for loading, piercing and testing soft tissue and biomaterials. Finger-grips pierce the sample and provide uniform sample loading across the geometry of the sample as well as aligning the center of the sample through the complete range of testing. The sharpened BioRakes easily pierce the toughest and most delicate soft tissues.

Four BioRakes are magnetically mounted into the biaxial tester. Samples are placed in the manually operated “Crown Press“, pressure is applied to seating fixture. The sample is now mounted for analysis. – consistent, accurate, and easy.
