BioTester includes image tracking software
which can be used to review and analyze images collected during
a uniaxial or biaxial test, providing the researcher with valuable
information.
BioTester contains an integrated camera which allows the user
to capture specimen images at a rate of up to 10 frames/second.
This camera gives an excellent visual of the displacement field
and allows the specimen to be seen under tension as the test progresses.
It allows the user to review the images after the test is complete.
The
image tracking software allows previously captured test images
to be analyzed quickly and easily to determine regional property
variations and whether there are uniform strains in the specimen.
This is critical to natural tissue measurement, where samples are
typical not homogenous materials.
The user can review in detail
or create a video of any part of the test. Often tests are over
many cycles or repetitions. A cycle may have several ‘phases’ including
hold, stretch and recovery. Using the integrated software, it is
easy and simple to create a video of any specific cycles or phases.
It
is simple and easy to compress a video or change the size of images
to meet your needs.
