The BioRake sample mounting system is CellScale’s patent pending attachment method for attaching to and loading soft tissues and biomaterials. The sharp BioRakes easily pierce the toughest and most delicate soft tissue samples and provide uniformly distributed attachment sites across the geometry of the sample. The four BioRakes are magnetically mounted and automatically aligned in the biaxial tester. Samples are placed in the manually operated “Crown Press“ and pressure is applied to the seating fixture. The sample is thus mounted and ready for analysis. – consistent, accurate, and easy.
